Shawn Tarrant cares deeply about our community, because it’s his community. He owns his home. His children go to our schools. His wife teaches in our schools. He works here. He is a deacon in his church.  And Shawn has worked on the issues that affect the 40th District.
   
Better Schools

Shawn Tarrant knows our public schools need a major overhaul. As your delegate, he will push for more funding from the stat for new school construction and to improve teachers salaries. Better Housing

Shawn Tarrant knows good housing means good neighborhoods. He worked with the Planning Department for a whole year to get his neighborhood rezoned, to keep out unwanted businesses. He has fought in the courts to eliminate vacant houses from his community. He knows what to do to improve housing in the 40th District.
